Hinged flap rolls down and locks the window shut. We find this window handle is used alot in the western states. The older version had a 1-3/8" hole spacing, but the new one has 1-1/2" hole spacing.
Sometimes we find the number R and 1 on the flap and DISCO cast in on the back of the handle.

The handle has a 9/32" lockup, or distance between the base plane and the under side of the tongue. 1/8" allen screw will lock the handle so it can not be opened.
