Window Sash Latches

Truth 16.52 Sash Lock.   A very common sash lock that tends to fail because the plastic slide breaks due to incorrect installation at the window manufacturer or being forced when there is a obstruction in the window opening.   The new replacement model has a thicker plastic slide.  Because the slide is thicker, the keeper, part # Wi41268 and Wi41269 might have to be shimmed with small washers.

Common numbers found on this sash lock are 21328 and 45189

Non handed (can be used on right or left hand windows).

Dimensions: 2-3/4" x 2-1/4" x 1"
2" between holes

#45098, 40242, 30386 and 31300 are sometimes found stamped inside the housing

31149 is stamped on the Right Hand Sash Lock

31369 is stamped on the Left Hand Sash Lock

Truth 16.16 Sash Lock.

3" x 2-9/16" x 1", with 2-3/8" hole spacing

This sash lock has been discontinued.  You can use the 16.27 as a replacement.

Truth 16.27 Sash Lock.   Sometimes known as the Truth Entrygard Sash Lock.

3" high x 2-9/16" deep x 1" thick.

Truth Multi Point Locking System sash lock.  The hole spacing on the lock is 3-7/16"
